The creek is where he’s the happiest. It’s my favorite place to be too because he’s free. He’s free of everything that’s trapped inside his little body. He’s free of his brain and spinal tumors, he’s free of his nonverbal autism, he’s free of therapies, specialists, and hospitals. His happy place allows him to be a typical farm boy and I’m grateful for that.
