MULTIPLE CASE ORDERS:
Those ordering multiple 24 packs at a time, please OPEN and inspect ALL of the boxes when you receive them for damage that may have occurred during shipping.
If you receive ANY units of Liquid Hope or Nourish that appear to be bloated, damaged or leaking to any degree,report those damages immediately at 937-433-4673 and/or send an email to email@example.com.
Damages must be reported within 14 days from receipt of the product.
Do not open, consume or wash any product that appears to be damaged. Though rare, damage may happen during shipping; under those circumstances, and with sufficient proof of damage, your product will be replaced by either your Durable Medical Equipment Company or Functional Formularies.
PRODUCT EXPOSURE TO HEAT AND FREEZING TEMPERATURES:
Functional Formularies Liquid Hope and Nourish are designed to have a shelf-life of up to 2 years from the date they are cased based upon how the product is stored and handled over the time period. Under guidelines of our research laboratories, if Liquid Hope and Nourish are stored and handled properly at ambient temperatures of 60º to 70º degrees Fahrenheit the maximim shelf-life of 2 years is within the maximum time frame for use.
Is it OK for Liquid Hope/Nourish to sit outside in the heat for short periods of time?
YES! Exposure to higher heats (75-100º+) for short periods of time will not negatively affect the nutritional values. The only time the nutritional values will begin to be affected is if the products are stored at high heat for extended periods of time (6-12+ months). If exposed to high heat for an extended period, the nutrient value may be decreased over time.
My Liquid Hope/Nourish was delivered and sat outside in freezing temperatures and is frozen. Is it OK to use?
YES! When Robin was making Liquid Hope for her father she would make a weeks worth of food for him in advance and freeze it. Then she would pull out a portion to thaw as needed.
Freezing can be a very good way to preserve the nutritional value, texture and flavor of many foods. As long as the food was grown in a high-quality way (for example, organically grown) the overall nutrient retention in a frozen food will remain high. In other words, the vitamins and minerals will keep well when food is frozen.
If you do find that your Liquid Hope/Nourish has been frozen just store at ambient room temperature and it will thaw naturally. If you need a pouch right away, please thaw unopened pouch gently.
Once you receive Liquid Hope or Nourish please open the cases and check for damage that may have occurred during shipping and if damage has occurred due to shipping, please contact us or your DME immediately for replacement.
6, 12 and 24 unit cases are shipped by UPS and cost is determined by quantity, weight and zip code. All orders with ground or expedited shipping methods received by 5 p.m. will be shipped out the following business day. Please order at least 7-10 days before you need your order to arrive.

If you live in Alaska or Hawaii please call us to place your order. (We can get you a better shipping rate through USPS.)
Currently we ship to a limited number of countries: the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Switzerland, Malaysia, France, the US Virgin Islands. Please call 937.433.HOPE (4673) or email firstname.lastname@example.org for the best rates to one of these countries. We ship internationally via FedEx, and all international orders can take up to three business days for processing.
We can only guarantee the quality and safety of our product when ordered through Functional Formularies directly by phone, our online store or one of our AUTHORIZED distributors. We do not sell on Amazon, ebay or any other online platform.
Replacement of damaged goods on a per case basis.
Due to the nature of our product we cannot return the item to stock. After Liquid Hope or Nourish leaves our facility we cannot control how it is stored or cared for. We would never ship previously sold formulas to customers and we feel that you would not want us to. We would recommend donating your unopened Liquid Hopeor Nourish to someone else who could benefit from it. We can direct you to our partner organizations that distribute our products to their communities.
Our products can also be used orally and makes a great protein shake or included in many dishes.
