Brian McGee is co-founder/co-creator of Liquid Hope and Functional Formularies. He has been actively involved in every aspect of Nutritional Medicinals LLC. for the past eight years. He played an integral part in formula development, R&D, identifying manufacturers and sourcing of raw materials. Brian has helped shape the company from the ground up. His training and compassion give him the ability to communicate with both suppliers and management that quickly identify solutions to any challenge the company may face. Additionally his 20 plus years in international product brand development and design is called upon often to create and keep the Functional Formularies brand in the forefront, shaping the way for the future of functional foods. Nutritional Medicinals LLC. 2014 Nexty award for people’s choice of the best functional food and beverage was largely driven by Brian’s capabilities.
Brian invested over ten years with LPK, one of the worlds largest brand development firms. In his time there he was an active part of the up-stream strategic planning, as well as project lead on multi-million and billion dollar brands such as Bayer and Pampers. Part of his role involved coordinating projects between LPK’s North American and Western European offices, with stellar outcomes. Brian also developed and led corporate sustainability, social responsibility, and health and wellness programs.
He integrates his research and use of organic whole foods nutrition, yoga, Tai Chi, and the teaching of Qi Gong for health into every aspect of his work. He has also developed women’s empowerment presentations for the YWCA’s Girl’s Inc. Program.
Brian holds a BFA from Ohio University, has completed advanced training in Dr. James Gordon’s Center for Mind Body Medicine (CMBM) stress reduction and trauma relief program, participated in CMBM’s Food as Medicine Program as well as studied and practiced Dr. Marshal Rosenberg’s mediation techniques also known as Compassionate Communication for over 8 years. He recently became certified as a Nationally Registered EMT and volunteers at his local county department.
